Abuse & reporting
See a Portal page that's a scam, spreads malware, impersonates someone, or shouldn't exist? Here's how to tell us, and what we do about it.
01Report a page
Every Portal page has a small Report link at the bottom. It opens a short form where you pick a reason — phishing, malware, impersonation, illegal content, or something else — and add any details. Leaving contact details is optional, but it lets us follow up.
You can also email [email protected] with the page address (prt.al/<handle>) and what's wrong. For anything urgent — an active scam or malware — email is fastest.
02What happens next
A person on our team reviews every report against our Terms. Depending on what we find, we:
- take no action, if the page doesn't break the rules;
- remove a specific link or piece of content;
- suspend the page — it stops being reachable immediately and shows the same “not found” page as a handle that was never claimed;
- close the account, for serious or repeated violations.
Where it's safe to, we tell the page owner what was removed and why, and they can reply to ask us to take another look.
03Why we're strict
Every page shares the prt.al address. One scam page can get the whole domain flagged by browsers and apps, and that would break every honest page with it. Acting quickly on abuse is how we keep everyone's links working.
04Copyright and trademarks
If a page uses your copyrighted work or trademark without permission, email [email protected] with the page address, the work or mark concerned, proof that you own it or act for the owner, and your contact details.
05Law enforcement
Requests from law enforcement should be sent to [email protected] from an official address. We hold very little about visitors — see our Privacy Policy.
